Was not impressed by Niemi. His best save was on a terrible attempt by Brouwer. |

I think the entire San Jose fanbase would argue against your assessment that Niemi is a winner. |

The Blues have beaten Niemi before in a series so I'd be all for that! |

He was with the Sharks back then, wan't he?
He stopped us today until o/t. Not many quality chances against him though |

Doesn't matter to me who Dallas chooses to go with. Right now Elliott is playing better than either. If I was Ruff I'd probably stick with Niemi, based solely on experience.
Anyone else think the ice was terrible for both games in Dallas? I know they mentioned it in game 1, but today looked as bad or worse. Excited to see what this series looks like on better ice. Just hope it doesn't give the Stars an advantage. They are fast enough as it is. |

No kidding. The point remains the same. |

" there's a reason why Niemi has a Cup ring"
Yes, this reason is the Chicago Blackhawks team of 2009-10 which was arguably the best and deepest team in the league in the last decade. If Niemi is playing better than Lehtonen, by all means play Niemi. But let's not describe him to be a winner. The guy is a subpar goaltender who struggles with consistency. |

Please play Neimi. Blues have beaten him in the play offs before. |

You forgot what the ice looks like in St. Louis in May. Too many of these newer fans complain about a cold rink. |

Game 2 of the Dallas-St. Louis series just ended with the Blues winning in OT to tie the series at 2-2.
Whatever you are smoking must be better than what i am drinking
series is tied 1-1
do some research before you blatantly lie to your readers. - BluesDroogie
Just a typo. Game 2 and probably was thinking game two and wrote two to two, no big deal. |

Dallas does not have the defense Chicago had when Niemi won the cup. Neither did San Jose. Niemi is a bonfire backup and let's in 1 or 2 softees a game.
St. Louis will win if he remains in net. |

STL should win regardless. More complete team period. Dallas has a higher upside first line but after that everything shifts in the blues favor. |

Thank you. Blues are deeper and more well balanced. Stars are loaded on offenses |

Nemo isn't a winner. In San Jose he was good at times, but he isn't a guy that would steal games. While in Chicago when he got his cup, he had GREAT Dmen in front of him that would clear out Nemos horrid rebounds. Even in his first year in San Jose I never understood how he was chosen of Nitty who had similar numbers but the team seemed to play better in front of. |

the 2010 cup run...he was as Q like to say OK...that hawk team was loaded; he was very good in the WC finals vs the sharks
i expected this series to be a goalie crap fest....but elliot continues to play well...at some point he will melt away... |

Orpik suspended 3 games for hit on Maatta - BFLOSABRES09
just another cheap and dirty hit from the master...he got off light...
and when called he skates around the ice with that look of who me...what did i do...what a jag bag...the league needs less of his act
the the chicken poop refs refused to call a major or even a double minor and then throw letang in the box for a nothing play...
